Epiphine EEJ2

Introduced in 1995, the Epiphone EJ-200 CE  is based on the iconic Gibson J-200 but has a single cutaway and electronics. The pickups were a Shadow piezo bridge transducer from 1995 to 2009, with a Shadow P-4 preamp or an optional Electar Epiphone Six preamp with chorus effect. In 2010 the electronics were changed to the eSonic2 system with stereo output, an under-saddle pickup and fingerboard-mounted pickup.

The Epiphone EJ-200CE had a laminated spruce top with a solid spruce top version available as the EJ-200SCE, although Epiphone specs state that the current EJ-200CE now has a solid top.
