A series of active protection circuits work to prevent damage that could ruin the integrity of the speaker and include a thermal protector, an under-voltage and over-current protector, short circuit protection, a subsonic filter, and a peak limiter that stop overdriven and loud signals from damaging the drivers.The L5112FA has a rear panel that offers audio connections for connecting to mixers, microphones, and instruments and includes dual combo ?-inch TRS Jack/XLR connections as well as two XLR thru outputs, and an XLR mix output. This speaker comes fitted inside of a heavy-duty enclosure that is designed to withstand the stresses of every day on stage use. The cabinet is built from durable Birch multiplex and MDF wood and is finished with textured acrylic enamel that stops impacts from damaging the enclosure.
